South Florida Marketing Firm Among Companies Selected For 14 Billion Dollar Veterans Administration Contract

The Weinbach Group announced today that it is among a select group of companies that will participate in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) 2.0 contract. The 10-year, $14 billion initiative is designed to improve healthcare delivery for veterans across the nation. The VA awarded the IHT 2.0 contract to nine prime contractors – or teams – all of which are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), and The Weinbach Group is part of the Rios Partners team.


The VA's IHT 2.0 initiative covers 61 "capability areas" from health informatics to business enablement. As a nationally recognized healthcare marketing firm, The Weinbach Group will focus on marketing and communications-related capability areas, such as medical advertising, media planning, healthcare public relations, video and film production, and graphic design – all with the aim of improving healthcare for veterans and their families.

The IHT 2.0 contract opens the door for The Weinbach Group to compete for a wide range of VA projects over the next decade. The VA, which is the second largest agency in the federal government, second only to the Department of Defense, is expected to initiate hundreds of initiatives in those areas relevant to the Miami ad agency’s expertise, such as digital advertising and strategic communications to advance public health campaigns. These opportunities align directly with the agency’s strengths and decades of experience in healthcare-focused marketing.
