MIAMI, Florida, June 11, 2015 – Florida-based healthcare advertising agency, The Weinbach Group, Inc. dispelled the myth that public, safety net hospitals cannot compete effectively for insured patients. The Miami ad agency won nine honors in the 32nd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, including seven for its flagship client Jackson Health System, the nation's largest public hospital system. The winning work represented a range of categories, from print and online ads, to community outreach materials, including a teddy bear-shaped fan used to promote Jackson's children's hospital and distributed to community churches.

"At a time when healthcare consumers have more and more choices, it's vital that top providers like Jackson take responsibility for educating patients about our world-class services and facilities," said Matthew I. Pinzur, associate vice president, communications and outreach for Jackson Health System. "The creative work developed by The Weinbach Group helps us grab people's attention, raise their awareness, and welcome them to Jackson facilities."

The Weinbach Group won a competitive bid to become Jackson's agency of record in 2012. Since it began serving the public hospital system, it has won more than a dozen Healthcare Advertising Awards for its work.

"The projects we developed for Jackson are all part of a broader campaign we launched in early 2013 rooted in the tagline 'Miracles Made Daily.' With this campaign we sought to showcase the extraordinary medical care provided at Jackson's hospitals and to help reposition its facilities as hospitals of choice," said agency principal and healthcare marketing expert Daniel Weinbach. "Since we started with Jackson, the health system has reported two consecutive years of surpluses in excess of $50 million."

In addition to its wins on behalf of Jackson, The Weinbach Group also won for medical advertising it created for its other healthcare industry clients, including The Renfrew Centers, the nation's largest network of residential and outpatient centers for the treatment of women with eating disorders. The agency has worked with The Renfrew Center for nineteen years, and it has been repeatedly recognized for the bold – yet empathic – materials it has created on The Renfrew Center's behalf.

The Weinbach Group also received nods from the Addy Awards, Communicator Awards, and Aster Awards in recent years.
